Using custom e-mail address
Both fields can have the same value, if you wish.
===== Using custom e-mail address values =====* You may want to let your users to define their own Drupal usernames and e-mail addresses other than what was received from the IdP. If either ''User-defined usernames'' or ''Require and use only ShibbolethUser-provided defined e-mail addressaddresses'' (default): with this option is set, Drupal e-mail address is rewritten with new users are presented a form to enter data at the Shibboleth-provided one on each loginfirst logon. This means {{INFO_EN|* The module ensures that your neither values are in use by existing users can only use .* If you enable and later disable the options, the two behave a bit differently. On subsequent logons:** the euser-mail address which defined username is provided by the IdP. '''The IdP is required to send the preserved'''** e-mail address attribute otherwise gets '''rewritten''' (or the user gets a fatal error.if the IdP does not provide the data)* Even if you enable user-defined usernames, the '''* IdP must send a unique identifier''Ask for missing e-mail address'': let which must be in the user modify her own eserver variable defined for username. This feature just enables you to use opaque identifiers such as
eduPersonTargetedId
* User-mail address by editing her Drupal account. If the IdP provides an defined e-mail addressaddresses are not verified, then that value will be the default, otherwise the user only well-formedness is asked to specify her e-mail address.checked}}
