The module is supported for Drupal 6.x and 7.x, however '''upgrades from Drupal 6 to Drupal 7 is not yet supported.''' You can try it, but you will need to adjust your database. The exact steps TBD.
 
The module assumes that you use Shibboleth SP 2.x. It's possible to use the module with Shibboleth SP 1.3, but that version is not supported anymore.
